Solomon Remote Time

Hardware and Software requirements.
There are two components to the Solomon Remote Time system.
First is a service installed on the server that accepts incoming information from each client.
Second is the client installation which is installed on each machine that will be used to record time.


Server Installation

Hardware Requiments
Processor:
166-megahertz (MHz) or higher processor
RAM: 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM or more
Hard Drive: Approximately 5 MB of available hard-disk space for the recommended installation

Windows Server 2003 R2
Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition
Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition
Windows Server 2003, Datacenter Edition
Windows® 2000 Server
Windows 2000 Advanced Server
Windows 2000 Datacenter Server

Required Software: .Net Framework: 2.0 Available here
MS Dynamics SL (Solomon ) version 5.5, 6.0, 6.5, or 7.0

 

Client Installation

Hardware Requiments
Processor: 600-megahertz (MHz) Pentium III-compatible or faster processor; 1-gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor recommended
RAM: 192 megabytes (MB) of RAM or more; 512 megabytes (MB) or more recommended
Hard Drive: Approximately 350 MB of available hard-disk space for the recommended installation



Software Requiments
Operating Systems: Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or later
Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional with SP4
Microsoft Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 4 or later
Windows Server 2003 Standard, Enterprise, or Datacenter editions with Service Pack 1 or later
Windows Server 2003 Web Edition SP1
Windows Small Business Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 or later
Vista Home Basic and above (SQL Express SP1 and SQL Express Advanced SP2)
